{ How I style my bump }

I don't really post often in the category of fashion and beauty on my blog and it's not that I don't want to, but I know when I have asked you guys in the past what types of posts you prefer, the majority of you guys have said, life updates and lifestyle posts! Lately, however, with my growing bump, I have gotten some requests to do a post on showing you guys how I have been styling my bump. I'm not going to lie, most days my outfits are very basic, cute top and a pair of leggings or maternity jeans, but there are days where I actually feel like dressing up and that's when I put together outfits that are a little more fun than just black leggings.

Dressing the bump is really fun, but I can't say I haven't had a breakdown in my closet a few times realizing everything I have doesn't actually fit me anymore! It does get a little frustrating sometimes, but don't worry, I have a few orders of new maternity clothes on their way so I'll have to show you guys what I got when it comes in.  Until then, I put together these outfits below which I love to wear with my growing bump. :)

Floral obsession

Omg you guys, how gorgeous is this gown from PinkBlush?? I absolutely love the material of this dress and everything about it. This is a maternity dress and it fits my bump so perfectly. PinkBlush has the best maternity and non maternity clothing. If you haven't shopped their website before I highly recommend it. This dress was gifted to me from the company but I am about to place an order for a bunch more! Hopefully with it being April the weather starts to cooperate and I can wear all these pretty dresses out soon. This dress would be perfect for a maternity photoshoot, a baby shower, or if your going to a wedding.

If you love this dress as much as I do I have it linked for you here.

Total spring vibes

I don't wear color in my wardrobe too often which is why I am obsessed with this top. The colors are so fun and vibrant and it's totally different than anything else I own. This top is not a maternity top but it still works great with the bump because it is off the shoulder and that helps make it long enough to cover up the belly! My white jeans are Jessica Simpson from Motherhood Maternity, which I scored on sale for under $25. I styled this outfit with a cute pair of mesh ankle booties I ordered from Charlotte Russe. I can't wait to wear this outfit once the weather starts to get a little nicer in Chicago.

Casual summer

This dress is one of my favorites. Maybe some of you who have been following my website for awhile recognize it. It is one of the pieces I used to sell on this website before when my blog was actually a boutique! I wore this dress on our trip back in April last year to San Diego. It fits just a little bit differently now haha. I love shift dresses like this one, especially if you tie a little rope belt or something similar above the belly. I have this dress paired here with a pair of Steve Madden espadrilles I recently ordered online. This look is easy, effortless, but so cute!

Running errands

This is probably my most casual and comfy look. I am wearing a basic green tank from H&M paired with my Jessica Simpson Motherhood Maternity jeans and once again my favorite Steve Madden espadrilles. Let me warn you now, you will be seeing these shoes a lot because I am obsessed! Espadrilles are definitely the shoes of the year and I can't wait to stock up on many more. I love to tie a denim shirt or a flannel under my bump, (since I no longer have a waist, haha) to spice up a very simple outfit. I also love how the shoes and the denim shirt perfectly pull this simple outfit together.  Throw on a cute handbag and your ready to go!
